I had the pleasure of photographing these cute girlies again. :) First of all, I can't believe how big Big Sister Miss "M" is! I photographed her when she turned one! Then last year, Miss "T" when she was a wee little newborn and now her one year session. Where does the time go?! These two are so funny! Miss "M" is always a little shy at first, and then warms up to me and her singing is to die for. And then we have Miss "T" that likes to do yoga poses. We also had a cake smash for her and she loooooved it! My favorite was when she tried picking the cake up off the plate! They both made my day happier this day. Thanks for brightening it and being such wonderful, fun clients. ;) Enjoy!!!
Are you ready for some major cuteness overload?! I went out earlier this month to visit the munchkies and photograph Miss "C" for her one year photos already! Where does the time go??!! These kids melt my heart, but I'm pretty sure I say that every time. Wouldn't you? Be prepared for this to be, maybe, the longest photo post I have done!! I just can't pick only one photo!
First post for 2014 and it includes a first birthday!!! Meet Mr. "Q" :) This little guy has an amazing history and he doesn't even know it yet! First of all, I met his parents about 10 years ago! His dad hired me for the swim team he coaches and his parents became dear friends of mine. Q's mom was the one that convinced me to finally go digital with my SLR! Thank goodness! ;)
I was very honored to be able to take Q's one year photos. It seemed to be a long time waiting, but timing is everything. When the timing is right, it is worth the wait. Every second! I have seen the journey Q's parents went thru while waiting for him before he was even in existence and the three of them could not have been more meant for each other.
It is amazing how it only takes just one day for your life to change and it was one day that did just that to Q's parents. Q was born on February 13, 2013, they learned about him on February 15th and by the 18th, they brought him home. You can read the full story here: http://searchingforthemissingpiece.blogspot.com
Needless to say, this was very special for me to able to do this for his parents. He didn't really like the texture of the cake, so I'll spare you pictures of him crying, but I couldn't have been more excited for a ONE year session than this one! Happy FIRST birthday Mister Q and happy FIRST year and many, many more with the best parents you can ask for.
This little cutie is just learning how to sit up and he is 6 months old already! I can't believe how big he is already because it seems like yesterday I photographed his newborn photos. He has one of the cutest smiles I know and it was so easy photographing him!! His mom and I can't wait for his 1 year photos and the cake smashing! Get ready for some cuteness overload!
One thing that I love about photography is when I get to see my little clients grow up. This is Little Man "Z." I met him last year when he turned the big ONE (and he couldn't run around yet). ;) How fast do these kids grow?! This year when I photographed him, he RAN THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME!!!! I'm sure you can't tell by the photos he wasn't running around, but if you were there in person, you could see it and see how sweaty myself and his parents were! I love his little "manniness" in these photos, especially with his tie on. He definitely has one of the cutest smiles! Enjoy!
What a fun weekend! This weekend was my birthday weekend and I drove down to St. Louis to visit my dear friend, Angela and her family. I went to my first Cardinals game, and was also able to photograph her three kids.
I met Angela two years ago when she moved to Oak Park while her husband participated in a prestigious orthopedic sports medicine program at Midwest Orthopedics at RUSH. We became instant friends, and have been friends since! She is also one of the first people to get my business going, started my Yelp page and also got me some of my first referrals. :)
It was a fantastic weekend and fun time with the kids and photographing them. I also go to photograph Miss "A's" one year old cake smashing session as she is a September baby as well. :)
This little cutie turned one this month! And boy, did she loooove her cake as well! She was a little unsure at first, but once she tasted that sugar, she could not stop and the pictures are proof! I know there are a lot, but they are just too funny not to post all of them! Her skin had a nice pink tone to it after everything was all over. ;)
I was so excited to meet Miss "A" as well. I have been friends with her mom for a long time and when her parents got married, they moved to Germany right away. This was my first time seeing her parents since the wedding over 2.5 years ago and my first time meeting her. She was just so sweet and we fell in love right away. :) Hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
And meet the munchkins' littlest sibling - munchkie number four, who is already 4 months old!!! She is such a sweet, happy girl. I love her lots and can't wait until my next visit to see how much she'll change.
These three are all over my Facebook page - meet the Munchkins! Not my real munchkins, just what I call them because everyone says they look like me, ha! I used to nanny for them and now I visit them a few times per/year and I'm also their photographer. Munchkie #4 was sleeping, but her photo session is tomorrow. ;)
We drove down to Avalon, NJ today to take photos of the cousins, which will also be posted soon as well. I was able to get some cute, natural photos of the kiddos enjoying their water ice! I love Avalon and can't wait to go back next summer!
Meet baby boy "T" - what a precious little manny man! His big sisters are pretty precious too and are such good sisters. As many of you know, I work as an athletic trainer at a high school and with the start of football season approaching, I couldn't resist getting this cute little outfit by My Mady Michelle (check out her website here:
